The Treasury yield curve is normal from three months to ten years including that critical stretch - the money market (less than one year). Now if only the commercial paper yield curve would join the party...
For Thurs 06-07 selloff, each of the Dow-30 stocks were lower, (ALL 30 stocks closed down for the day).
Considering the rise in interest rates, as the yield curve normalizes,...does the 30 Dow stocks being lower (BUY SIGNAL per your book) trump the recent rise in interest rates?
Wondering how you see the market for the next couple months?
My bias is for sideways to higher on the market for next couple of months. The rise in interest rates is the result of firmer economic growth, and not necessarily rising inflation. So corporate earnings should be okay, and rates are still "relatively low", and stocks are decently valued, etc. Very curious as to your thoughts.
All 30 Dow stocks off is certainly looks over-sold...especially in an environment of normalizing yield curve. I agree with your bias for sideways to higher this summer.

Dear Jim,
